CU spring cleaning

Join us as we come together to care for the house of the Lord and one another. Our church building and grounds have served us faithfully; now we’ll serve them. Everyone is invited to help with tasks both inside and out: dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash, and replacing or repairing anything torn or broken. No skill is too small — bring willing hands, a servant’s heart, and, if you have them, tools such as gloves, rakes, screwdrivers, pliers, or a paint brush. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee will be provided!!

Schedule

  • 8:00 AM — Arrival, welcome, quick prayer, and task assignments

  • 8:15–11:30 AM — Work teams in assigned areas (interior rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, fellowship hall, entryways, exterior grounds, landscaping, minor repairs)

  • 11:30 AM–12:00 PM — Final walkthrough, tool cleanup, and closing prayer

What to bring

  • Work gloves

  • Comfortable closed-toe shoes

  • Weather-appropriate clothing that can get dirty

  • Any personal tools you prefer to use (optional)

  • A heart ready to serve

Youth and children are welcome when accompanied by parents or guardians and assigned age-appropriate tasks. Adult supervision required.

Why we do this? Maintaining our building honors God and the community we serve. When we care for our church home together, we strengthen fellowship and create a welcoming place for worship, outreach, and service.

Contact us with any questions. We look forward to serving together.
